How you can help
Four ways to give
Give financially
A one-off or regular gift supports the pillar where the need is greatest. Bank details are below, and our office can issue a receipt and an acknowledgement for any gift.
Partner with us
Institutional partners, foundations and fellow Caritas members can co-design programmes with us. Talk to the office about concept notes, reporting standards and due diligence.
Give in kind
Seed, tools, building materials, water and sanitation hardware, school and health supplies. Contact the office first so that what arrives matches what communities have asked for.
Offer time and skill
Professional support in engineering, agronomy, safeguarding, monitoring and evaluation or communications is genuinely useful. So is prayer, and the support of your parish.

Questions we are asked
Where does my gift go?
Gifts are applied to the six programme pillars. Unless you specify a pillar, the office allocates the gift to the area of greatest need at the time it is received.
Is Caritas Gweru a registered organisation?
Yes. Caritas Gweru was established in 1972 and is registered as a private voluntary organisation under Caritas Zimbabwe as PVO 25/2014. We are a member of Caritas Internationalis.
Can my parish or school fundraise for you?
Please do, and please contact the office first so that we can agree the appeal, provide materials and acknowledge the proceeds properly.
How do you account for what you receive?
Accountability and transparency are two of our eight values. The office reports to donors according to the terms of each gift or grant, and published reports are listed on our Resources page.
